GENERAL INFORMATION

AIR TRANSPORTATION:

Air transportation is based on airfares applicable on any IATA, Charter or participating airlines. Airfare is subject to the rules and regulations of the carriers. All fares are subject to change without notice and are subject to availability.

HOTELS:

Accommodations are in first-class hotels. Selected tourist-class hotels, for the convenience of Shabbat, or due to the remoteness of the area, may be necessary. As well as some of the tours like China & Russia some of the hotels may be de lux hotels. All accommodations are with private bath or shower.. An attempt is made to reserve lower floors for Shabbat, but cannot be guaranteed. Hotels are classified according to each country's official standards. Triple room requests are usually accommodated with a rollaway bed. Hotels are subject to change.

MEALS:

Tours include the following kosher meals per day: continental breakfast at hotels, provisions for lunch, and dinner served at a kosher restaurant or Jewish community center under the supervision of the local Orthodox Rabbinate or Chabad. Beverages are not considered part of the meal and usually results in an extra charge. Where kosher food is not available locally, vegetarian dinners are served on disposable dishes.

For North American tours, where restaurants are not available, meal service is provided by a kosher catering service, which accompanies the tour group. Passengers can be accommodated for special vegetarian meals, in addition to those listed above, if requested at time of reservation.

SIGHTSEEING/TRANSPORTATION:

Tours are by air-conditioned or air-ventilated private motorcoach with English speaking local guides. Admission fees are included as per our itinerary. No refund for missed tours. Itineraries are planned to avoid travel on Shabbat. If touring is necessary on Friday, arrival at hotel will be at least a few hours prior to Shabbat.

TRANSFERS:

Airport transfers are provided for group flights only. Transfers for any deviations will be the sole responsibility of the passenger.

KESHER TOURS ESCORT:

Selected escorts will accompany you throughout your trip. Our escort is at your disposal for any information or assistance. He/She handles the logistics and preparations of your tour and in many countries is you guide.

KESHER TOURS SCHOLARS-IN-RESIDENCE

Selected professionals have been chosen as scholars-in-residence to join some of our tours in conjunction with local guides, Our scholars have been chosen for their knowledge of the specific areas.

BAGGAGE:

Owing to space limitations, Passengers are allowed, one bag per person, provided bag does not exceed total 62" plus under-seat luggage. Tour price includes handling of one piece of luggage per passenger. Beyond the first overseas stopover, as well as from some points of return in the USA, a free weight allowance of 22 Lbs applies. Excess baggage will be charged at the established rate. All baggage conveyance is at Passenger's risk throughout the tour. Hand luggage should be carried personally.

TARIFFS:

All prices mentioned in this brochure are based on current tariffs and exchange rates of the US dollar, valid on APRIL 1, 2008 and subject to modification without notice. In case of alterations in any of the tours, the passenger will be obligated to pay the difference before any tour service is provided.

TIPS AND TAXES:

All local taxes and tips to drivers and local guides are included. You may acknowledge any special services that you received with additional tipping.

NOT INCLUDED:

Airport tax, passport or visa fees, insurance, laundry, and meals or drinks (not part of your package) are not included in the price of the tour and will be at the passenger's expense. Tips to the Tour Escort, and North American hotel gratuities are not included.

LAND ONLY TOURS:

You may arrange your own air transportation and purchase land-only on any of our tours. Prices for land-only are listed for every tour. These prices do not include transfers between airports and hotels.

REFUNDS:

There are no refunds for missed meals or services, or for any daily absence from the tour or any unused portion of the tour once the tour is in progress.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We strongly recommend Trip Cancellation Insurance to protect you against the risk of cancellation or interruption, loss of baggage, medical expenses and travel delay. Insurance applications will be sent upon receipt of reservations.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:

Owing to airline security measures, the name on your ticket should match the name on your passport. US citizens must possess a passport valid for at least six months for international travel. Proof of citizenship is required for travel to Canada. Please check with the tourist office of individual countries for specific health requirements and additional information. Non-US citizens must check with the individual consulates of the countries to be visited.

RESERVATION:

Reservation are confirmed, only upon receipt of a $300 per person deposit, which must be received within 10days of registration. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure. Failure to comply with above requirements may result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of a portion of the deposit. Late payments may result in higher airfares and additional charges. There is a $25 processing fee for bookings made within 30 days of departure. Credit cards are not accepted.

CANCELLATIONS:

Written notice is required for all cancellations. Cancellation charges per person are as follows: 46 or more days $25 per person 45 - 25 days 10% of Total Tour Price 24 - 10 days 40% of Total Tour Price 9 - 4 days 50% of Total Tour Price 3 Business days or less 100% of Total Tour Price.

Air cancellation charges will be incurred in accordance with the rules of the individual airlines involved. Group fares are non-refundable or have cancellation penalties.

CHANGES:

There is a $25 fee per booking changes made within 45 days of departure, plus any additional fees assessed depending on costs incurred by the tour operator, such as: hotel cancellation fees, telephone charges, and other non-recoverable expenses.

RESPONSIBILITY:

KESHER TOURS, INC., and /or its agents, act only in the capacity of an agent for the passenger in making all arrangements for transportation, hotel accommodations and sightseeing. All arrangements are made under the express condition that Kesher Tours, Inc. and /or its agents shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be the result of defects in any vehicle through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour or by any hotel proprietor, employee or otherwise. By utilizing these services provided, participant agrees that KESHER TOURS, its subsidiaries or affiliates shall not be liable for any of the aforementioned injury, damage, loss, accident, strikes, weather conditions, quarantine, theft, acts of war, terrorism or other causes or delays and schedule changes incurred in connection with any with any services offered which may be beyond the control of KESHER TOURS. The right is reserved for the Tour Operator, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any person(s) before of during the tour. In the event of exercising this right, the Tour Operator shall be under no liability to that person or persons except to refund such amount as the Tour Operator, in its sole discretion, thinks reasonable to attribute to the uncompleted portion. Tour participant, by registering for a tour, releases and holds harmless all Operators listed, from any delays, injuries, deaths, or damage while on tour. Any dispute arising out of these tours will be settled in the courts of the City of New York.

The sole and exclusive responsibility and liability of the Airlines shall be in accordance with, and as limited by, the contract of carriage in the passenger's ticket, the applicable tariffs and the provisions of the Warsaw convention, if applicable. The airlines shall not be responsible or liable for any act; omission or occurrences during the time passengers are not on board its airplanes. The airlines shall not be responsible or liable in any way for the accuracy of any representations of the tour operator and its agents on tour services other than those contained in this brochure. Delays, cancellations and overbooking may occur on air flights. Although Kesher Tour attempts to do all possible to avoid these inconveniences, it cannot assume any responsibility for the acts of respective airlines.

Prices and tour conditions (itineraries and hotels) are subject to change without notice. All tours are based on a minimum of 25 participants unless otherwise noted.

** KESHER TOURS, INC. reserves the right to cancel any tour up to 21 days of departure due to an insufficient number of participants. A full refund of all moneys paid will be given to all clients.
