Slovenia & Croatia tour itinerary ...
Depart for Ljubliana.
After Landing in Ljubljana international airport we will proceed to the thriving capital of Ljubljana where you'll explore the unique architecture and admire the work of Joze Plecnik, a 20th-century architect and Ljubljana native that made significant contribution to restoring the city that suffered from a devastating earthquake in 1895. You'll also see some buildings that survived the earthquake and still stand in the charming historic old town. The old town is dotted with small shops and numerous outdoor cafes and restaurants. Continue to Bled. Overnight in Bled for the next three nights.
After breakfast we will visit in the 11th century castle of Bled sitting on a cliff and we'll enjoy the breathtaking view. Ahead for a visit in Vintgar Canyon, one of the largest tourist attractions in the area. Then on to Bohinj Lake, located in the heart of Triglav National Park.
Slovenia's picturesque countryside unfolds as you depart to the mysterious Postojna Caves, the second largest in Europe. From here, ride a train to view the impressive stalagmites and stalactites. Continue on for a visit in the Suce Valley, with dramatic view of the famous vineyards of Slovenia.
Our first stop today will be in the old city of Ptuj; we will visit the castle of Ptuj, and then the museum of the old city castle. We then continue with a walk in the old streets of the town. Then we are off to Maribor, the second large city in Slovenia, where we will see the old Synagogue, now a museum. A tour of the Jewish quarter in the old city, will be followed by a walk along the park of three lakes.
Continue to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia where we will stay for the next 3 nights.
During the morning city tour of Zagreb will see the fortified Upper Town with the two oldest parts of the city, Kaptol and Gric. The city's historical centre, the Croatian National Theater and the University.

After morning services and lunch a walking tour in the area.
Plitvice Lakes National Park, & city of Zadar. After an early breakfast our driver will take us for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a string of 16 turquoise colored lakes linked by 92 waterfalls and cascades and surrounded by densely wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Continuing on to Zadar, we will walk in the old city and see the Roman Forum from the 2nd century BCE and the major attraction the city offers – the wave's organ.
Overnight in Zadar.
After breakfast depart for the city of Split. See the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, and a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. We will also see the remnants of the cities Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, and the Synagogue . Then we will cross the border to Bosnia, neighboring country of Croatia, for a visit of Mostar, the city of poetry, stone and narrow streets. The town is renouned for its dwellings and monuments, assembled harmoniously over the centuries thanks to the favorable geographical conditions and climate. Visit the city sites, which include the Old Bazaar and the Turkish House.

Welcome to Dubrovnik – the historic city on the Adriatic coast South of Croatia. We will enjoy our walking tour in the old city of Dubrovnik, the Rector's Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando's Column and the Sponza Palace. We will also see the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy; one of the oldest in the world.
Over night in Dubrovnik for the next two nights.
After breakfast we will cross the border to Montenegro, the smallest one out of the 6 new ex-Yugoslav republics. On our way to magical Kotor we will enjoy the wonderful view of Boka lake and the small city of Prst. In Kotor we will enjoy the small alleys and the warm coffee houses. We will continue to climb on the black mountain for visits in Njegoshi and Cetinje, the old capital of Montenegro. On our way to the shore city of Budva we will see the island of the rich and famous, Sveti Stefan.
After the visit in Budva, we return to our hotel in Dubrovnik.
