DAY 1 TUESDAY New York-Bangkok

Flight to Bangkok

DAY 2 Wednesday Bangkok

Arrival to Bangkok, where you will be met by your guide and taken to the Hotel.

DAY 3 Thursday Bangkok

Today we will visit Wat Traimit – Temple of The Golden Buddha, world largest solid gold Buddha, the Royal Palace where we will see the revered Emerald Buddha and continue to Wat Pho to see the Reclining Buddha.
In the evening we will visit the famous Night Market.

DAY 4 Friday Chiang Mai

Flight to Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai is known as the "Rose of the North".
From the airport we will proceed to the outskirts of Chiang Mai to the Villages of Bor Sang And Sankam Pang, large centers of the Thai cotton and silk weaving, silverware, lacquer ware, woodcarving and Thai doll making.

DAY 5 Shabbat Chiang Mai

After morning services and Shabbat lunch enjoy a walking tour of the area.

DAY 6 Sunday Chiang Mai

Today we will visit the Elephant Camp and witness a demonstration of their skills, We will take a short ride on the Elephant's back through the Jungle. We will then proceed to a Bamboo Rafting trip down river (weather permitting). On the way back we will visit Wat Phra Thart Doi Suthep – Chiang Mai's most important Temple built in 1384 and set on a hilltop, visible all around the countryside and offering magnificent views.
In the evening we will visit the famous Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.

DAY 7 Monday Long Neck , Hill Tribe, Chiang Rai

Today we head for Tha Ton nature reserve. We will make a trek to the spectacular gorge, and visit the unique Pa Dong Long Necked Tribe who originated from Burma. We then go on to see the Yao and Akha tribes that live in the hills. We will learn about these special ethnic groups dress and traditions.

DAY 8 Tuesday Chiang Rai, Mae Sai

We will drive today to the Golden Triangle – where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar (formerly Burma) and Laos meet at the Mekong River. In the past this was the center of the opium trade run by the local hill tribes. We will continue by motorboat along the scenic Mekong River. Then we will visit the ancient fortified city Of Chiang Saen situated on the Banks the Mekong River and proceed to the border town of Mai Sai where the Thai and Burmese merchants trade goods with each other and where locals can cross the bridge and visitors cannot.

DAY 9 Wednesday Phuket

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Phuket – Asia's most popular holiday retreat where we will spend 4 enchanting nights on this wonderful Island.

DAY 10 Thursday Phuket – James Bond Island

Today we will take a tour to Phang Nga Bay, one of the most unusual and beautiful locations in the world. Travel by cruiser through the Mangrove jungles and limestone peaks that rise vertically from the sea. Visit Koh Ping Kan – the island made famous by the James Bond Film – The Man with the Golden Gun and known by the locals as James Bond Island. On our way back to the hotel we will visit a cashew nut factory.

DAY 11 Friday Phuket

Day at leisure.

DAY 12 Shabbat Phuket

After morning services and lunch we will have a walking tour of the area.

DAY 13 Sunday Bangkok, Ayutthaya

Transfer to the airport for our flight to Bangkok.
A ride through the countryside will bring us to Ayutthaya the ancient Capital of Thailand, we will take a walk through the ruins and visit Bang-Pa-In the summer residence King Rama V. Proceed to Bangkok and transfer to the Hotel.

DAY 14 Monday Bangkok, Kanchanaburi

An early morning start to reach the Damnern Saduk the famous colorful floating market. We will see canoes laden with colorful fruits, vegetables and spices make their way through the canals. We will continue our tour and visit a Coconut Farm, then proceed to the picturesque Kanchanaburi province home to the Bridge over the River Kwai. We will visit the Jeath War museum and the cemetery for the Allied Soldiers who died whilst building the "Death Railway" for the Japanese during World War II, then take a boat trip to the nearby village. At the end of the tour we will return to Bangkok

DAY 15 Tuesday Bangkok – New York

Transportation to the airport for our flight home.
